Real Estate Transactions

We are highly experienced in commercial leasing transactions. We have represented both landlords and tenants in the negotiation and documentation of ground leases, space leases and build-to-suit leases for shopping center and stand-alone parcels, including those involving multi-million dollar tenant improvement allowances.

We also have deep knowledge and experience in commercial real estate purchase and sale transactions, including 1031 exchanges on behalf of both buyers and sellers. We are skilled in all facets of "ground up" development of retail business locations, including site selection strategy and feasibility analysis, and all due diligence associated with site acquisition and development, including title, survey and environmental review, interaction with governmental agencies, neighboring landowners and utility companies to obtain necessary and desirable entitlements. We are also experienced in the management of real estate asset portfolios, as well as the representation of distressed companies and individuals holding large portfolios of commercial and residential real estate. We have represented numerous purchasers of distressed real estate inside and outside of the bankruptcy context.
